Shopalholic Syndrome
So yes, that may not be a real condition, however, I feel it should be. Shopping is a very serious problem and can result in intense lack of money and over cluttering in the wardrobe area. There is just something about going out and seeing all those lovely new clothes hanging on handles and staring at you just waiting for you to purchase it and take it home with you. However now, the problem is that not only can you go out and shop but when you feel a craving for new clothes you can pop online and purchase whatever you want, wait a few days and have it dropped right to your door. So as soon as you see someone on TV looking fabulous in some amazing clothes you can instantly go online and get a similar outfit for yourself. Yep, its a serious problem.
So, how can we solve this problem. Well, I can't really see people sitting around a table talking like in 'confessions of a shopaholic' but maybe there are forums online? Then again that would make you seem like a crazy person. However, if you spend all your day sitting around looking at whats new on the BooHoo.com sale then maybe you are a crazy person - not that I do that or anything - who should probably seek help.
I am going to try and help fellow shopaholics, a technique I have recently started doing is to go online and pick out many clothes but them into a online basket, go onto another site and try to find similar items at better prices. I then found by the time I had taken this much effort to do all this shopping around I couldn't be bothered to even buy the clothes. Yes, some may argue its a waste of time but personally, I feel it helps satisfy my shopping needs whilst not losing me any money.
If there are any other shopaholics out there I would love to here some tips. Or any normal human beings it may help if someone did let me know if I am truly crazy or not...
