I Heart Turkey

I Heart Turkey - if I was to write a book about my past few weeks that would be the title. If it was turned into a film the sound track would be a mixture of Spector, Swim Deep and White Lies. The plot wouldn't contain love and romance it would follow a young girl on her journey to the pool to sunbathe and result in getting burnt then spend the evening eating calorific meals and drinking plenty of ice tea. It may not be incredibly rock and roll but it is a relaxing trip.

So, what about Turkey do I heart? Well for starters the weather Sun Sun Sun and hot hot hot. It's perfect heat which means you don't have energy to do anything and don't feel guilty about sitting around doing nothing all day. You can sit and read a book a day (or two if they are just that great!)  and just enjoy yourself.

Of course if you prefer night life and drinking (I may be subject to a good cocktail every now and again) then just wander down the beach front for the evening. There is always the option of heading to a quieter beach front to enjoy a live band and beers. Turkey is full of versatility and whatever age you can enjoy yourself - wow now I'm starting to sound like some sales woman - and have a good time.

Most of all as long as you have good company and aren't afraid to turn your phone off and talk to people you can enjoy yourself. Word to the wise young your phone isn't everything and although you may wanna flip on Facebook as soon as you get WiFi nothing interesting would of happened and you don't wanna say anything stupid, it's always nice to come back to smiling faces rather than pissed off pals.
