This article inspired me as the idea of women teaming together and working as a group is obviously nothing knew. The Spice Girls have been saying for years that girl power is the future and we should remain viva forever. However, some women tend to back away from this idea and they don't team up anymore and support on another but we tend to turn against each other.

Walking down the street, as women we tend to turn to other women and be shocked by what one girl is wearing and we can't help but objectify them. When we see a girl with hair that's different to our own or that stands out instead of applauding her for being courageous with her fashion choices we knock down their confidence and tell them we think they look silly and mock them.

For certain occasions you will see girls rallying together. For many, a girls night out in a bar or club is perfect, we get ready together have a few drinks and laugh together then spend the night as a group. As soon as a spice girls hit comes on the DJs decks all women will assemble to dance together whether we like each other or not. Women will all wear pink and run/walk/dance along a track whilst raising money for cancer support which is always lovely.

Although men and women have to co-inside with one another, we shouldn't turn against other women just for the sake of men. We can't help the way we were born and having another girl say something horrid to another girl hurts more than a man turning against you. We all can't help the way we look and although no one is perfect we can all rally together and pretend we look perfect, at least to each other.
