Time flies when your having fun
Time is something which stays constant. Everything else can change but their will always be the same amount of hours in a day and days in year. So how is it when we sit up in bed at night and reflect on the days that have passed it suddenly feels like time has hit fast forward and before you know it your thrown in the deep end watching people rush past you in everyday life.Standing on the corner of a street in London it seems as though everyone is moving so much quicker than you feel able to comprehend. As a student you realise this as well, one day your stepping into reception and it feels like everyone around you is so big, then you move into year 6 and you feel on top of the world, you're the oldest. Then before you know it your back to square one and in year 7. A lot happens between year 7 and year 13 its safe to say, however, that time period (40% of your life) is spent at school with probably to same people around you. Yet when you leave year 13, fear sets in as you realise you wont wake up monday morning wishing it was sunday not wanting to go to school.
So it's true, time does fly when you don't even realise it. Before you have a chance to breath you're driving taking exams and looking into what your going to do with the rest of your life. Its scary being 18. You have to make a lot of life changing decisions before you really know what you want to do. Its difficult to take a breath.
However, thats the way of the world, I guess, time seems to fly, you sit there on your bed thinking about the past 7 years, the people you're loved and lost the teachers you've shouted at the men you've dated it can seem like time has tricked you. They say time is constant but it seems as though everything has turned into a blur, a sped up blur. Before you know it your 18 years old, writing a blog sitting with a glass of wine thinking about the rest of your life and what you're going to do with it.
